BEIJING, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- A total of 26,000 individuals turned themselves in to China's discipline inspection and supervision agencies in 2025, according to a work report from the country's top anti-graft body.

The report, which was released in full on Saturday, was previously delivered in mid-January at a plenary session of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI).

According to the report, the CCDI and the National Commission of Supervision last year launched investigations into 181 officials registered at and supervised by the CPC Central Committee.

Discipline inspection and supervision agencies nationwide filed more than 1 million cases over the year, handing disciplinary or administrative penalties to 983,000 individuals involved in corruption.

China also strengthened its international anti-corruption cooperation in 2025, with 963 corrupt fugitives repatriated to China during the year, per the report.
