Cuban Foreign Minister: US government is testing public opin

Havana, July 16 (Xinhua) -- Cuban Foreign Minister Rodriguez stated on the 16th that some US media outlets have repeatedly joined the US government's propaganda campaign against the threat of military force against Cuba. The US government is using these so-called news "dropped" on the media to test "public opinion" for an unjustified military adventure.

Rodriguez emphasized that Cuba is not a threat, and US intelligence agencies are well aware of it.

The United States has long imposed an economic, financial, and trade embargo on Cuba. After launching military actions against Venezuela and Iran this year, US President Trump has threatened Cuba again, stating that "Cuba is next" and further increasing pressure on Cuba by imposing an oil blockade.
